Neurologico Spinale Medico Chirurgico (NSMC) is open-access, single-blind peer-reviewed journal, published by Indonesian Neurospine Society (INSS) under the flag of Indonesian Neurosurgery Society (INS) and Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. NSMC publishes articles which encompass all aspects of basic research/clinical studies. The journal facilitates, bridge and integrate the intellectual, methodological, and substantive diversity of medical knowledge, especially in the field of surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, spine, neuroanesthesia, medicine, and health. The journal appreciates any contributions which promote the exchange of ideas between practicing educators and medical researchers all over the world.


Aims and Scope

NSMC aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the basic and clinical investigation on the discoveries and current developments in the field of surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, spine, neuroanesthesia, medicine, and health and making them available online freely without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to all the researchers worldwide.  NSMC welcomes valuable basic and translational technology research articles to introduce cutting-edge research of fundamental sciences and technology in those fields. Clinical or basic research articles, review articles, case reports, and letters to the editor written in English will be accepted.    


Publication Frequency

NSMC journal publishes three times per year: April, August, and December (month). 


Article Processing Charge and Submission Fee

Neurologico Spinale Medico Chirurgico (NSMC) is fully funded by the Indonesian Neurospine Society (INSS) together with the Indonesian Neurosurgery Society (INS). No APC and submission fee will be charged currently for all types of the manuscript.
